"IS IT THE POLITICIANS OR JUST US?"

“PEOPLE”, do we really know what our role in our government is?
Well, perhaps most of us know while many still don’t. If you go outside and ask some people “Do you know what government is? Do you know what is happening in our politics now? Or do you know what politics is? Guess what… they would answer you:
All I know is that I am living and surviving life get off me!
I remember in television news, a reporter asked some people while they where having a rally against “CONASS”…
Reporter: Alam nyo po ba ang ibig sabihin ng ConAss? And they replied: “Con…Ass? basta
sumusunod lang kame dun sa leader namen e’ baka siya alam niya.” WOT!!!???
A big WOT!?? If these people spend their
wasted time to educate themselves of what our government really means, they would know their role and purposes.

“POLITICS is a concept which refers to the affairs of government and governance.
In the Philippine case, our government is a democratic form of government, patterned after the United States. A democratic government is defined as government of the people, for the people, by the people, which means that the sovereignty resides in the people!”
But what really happen to us is a
TRAPO or defined as a TRAditional POlitical Culture.
Politicians do a lot of good promises to win the heart of people and after that, “Promises are made to be broken.” Another one is the CRAB MENTALITY they would grab and crab the character of their opponents PANINIRA so that people will just recognize the faults of those politicians and forget all the good things that they did, that is mostly what’s happening to us. And another one is the BUYING OF VOTESmost of the people don’t care of who will going to rule the position as long as they have Money the first reason for us to survive and that is the sad fact!

So is it the Politicians or just us? The answer is both, no one to blame.

As we can see we are an immature type of government and still far from the ideal.
The pattern of our government is patterned after the United States, so can we be just like them? Of course we can! If our people would just know what is their role in our community then “CHANGE WE CAN!”
